What Will We Do Each Day?
Day 1: We'll kick off by exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Whistler, where you'll capture incredible reference photos of majestic mountain peaks, crystal-clear alpine lakes, and the extraordinary light that has inspired artists for generations—photos that will fuel your creativity for years to come.
Day 2: After breakfast we’ll dive into your first painting, a group project designed to teach you essential techniques. I'll guide you step by step through color mixing and palette knife layering, so you can create a beautiful mountain-inspired scene. I'll be painting alongside you and providing one-on-one help to make sure your painting shines.
Day 3: Now you get to pick your next painting subject! Whether it's inspired by the Canadian Rockies, lush evergreen forests, or a scene you've been dreaming of, I'll be there to help you every step of the way. With my guidance, you'll transform your vision into a painting you'll be proud to take home.
By the end of our four days together, you'll have two stunning, one-of-a-kind paintings to treasure—artwork worthy of a collector's wall! More than that, you'll gain the confidence and skills to keep creating long after the retreat ends.

I don’t trust ANYONE in the whole world to ship my paintings except for Matt!
And now you’ll get his incredible expertise too.
Once you’re finished, Matt will use his one-of-a-kind techniques to package and ship your painting home for you.
You won’t have to worry about trying to get it through airport checkpoints or into the overhead compartments (Ah! Can you imagine! How awful!)
You’ll fly home with peace of mind knowing your paintings will arrive safe and sound in just a couple of days!

We’re Covering All the Food and Accommodations Too!
Like I said, all you have to do is get yourself to the airport....
We’ll pick you up from the airport and shuttle you in style
to this wonderful luxury home.
Our private chef will prepare and cook each meal.
